Questions and answers

What are the three Duo poses?

iPhone Duo has three poses. Open flat, the page fills the inner display and the system keyboard is used. In tabletop pose, the phone is half-folded along its horizontal fold, at a laptop angle. The page sits on the top half and the typewriter keyboard fills the bottom half. Closed, the outer display shows a read-only glance of your page.

Does Halfpage work on other iPhones and iPads?

Yes. On other iPhones and iPads running iOS 27, the page sits above a typewriter keyboard on one screen.

What is hard mode?

Hard mode removes backspace. A mistake is struck through rather than erased, so you keep moving forward. Turn it on in Settings.

How does iCloud sync work?

Your documents are saved on your device. When you are signed in to iCloud, they sync through your own iCloud account, so changes carry across your devices. Halfpage has no server of its own, and the developer cannot see your documents.

What export formats are there?

You can export any document as .txt, .md or PDF. Choose a format from the documents list, and the file is shared through the system share sheet.

Which skins are there?

Classic has a cream body with black keys. Midnight has a charcoal body with ivory keys. Choose either one in Settings.

How do I mute the sound?

Mute the sound in the app, or let the silent switch do it.
